SESSION SIX
The Fundamental Rules for Godly Communication
Unbiblical communication is a common root of conflict in the home, leading to misunderstanding, anger, and division when family members fail to speak clearly or listen well. Godly, biblical communication is essential for husbands and wives to fulfill their roles in marriage and for children to learn obedience, respect, and submission. Parents must communicate with clarity, honesty, and love to avoid discouraging their children, while all family members are called to use their words in ways that honor God rather than harm one another. Scripture provides clear guidance and warnings about the power of words, calling families to intentionally cultivate communication that reflects love, respect, and a desire to glorify Jesus Christ.
