The Fundamental Role of the Wife

The wife is called by God to love her own husband by honoring and submitting to him, just as the church honors and submits to Christ (Ephesians 5:22). The wife has been designed by God to be the exact helper needed to complete her husband. She will be held accountable by God for her role within the family. The fear and love of Christ will be the driving force behind her continuing submission to her husband.
