SESSION Seven
The Fundamental Guide for Conflict Resolution
Godly communication is essential for resolving conflict and cultivating relational intimacy in the home. While disunity can arise from differences, preferences, offenses, or verbal and physical struggles, God does not condone sinful conflict; instead, He uses conflict to shape humility, selflessness, submission, unity, love, and Christlikeness in believers. True conflict is more than disagreement or offense—it occurs when both parties sin against one another in words or actions and stand opposed, making it grievous to God. Because conflict is inevitable yet purposeful, believers must become skilled in biblical conflict resolution, responding in ways that honor Christ and restore unity in the home.
